Created at the beginning of 2024, Moovijob.com‘s new Degree of Seduction indicator enables Luxembourg companies to measure their employer brand and helps them to position themselves in relation to their peers. A new study was carried out by Moovijob.com on 28 March as part of the 15th Moovijob Day, Luxembourg’s largest ‘Jobs, Training, Careers’ fair…
The relationship between recruiters and candidates has only become more balanced in recent years. With the mismatch between supply and demand in the job market becoming more and more apparent, companies are no longer in a position of strength and need to seduce their future recruits in order to arouse their interest. That’s where employer branding comes in, and that’s where the famous ‘degree of seduction’ comes in, an indicator that has become invaluable to HR over the past year.
How is this degree of attractiveness measured?
The degree of appeal is the average of the scores received by the company on the following 3 criteria:
The aesthetic appeal of the stand (The warmth and friendliness of the stand, the decoration, the colours, the displays… Does the stand make me want to meet the company?)
The clarity of the message (Is the company’s message clear? Do I easily understand what the company does, its sector of activity, its business lines, its projects, its corporate culture, etc.)
The people on the stand (Are they welcoming? Do they make me want to talk to them?)
Anonymous visitors blended in with the 15,000 visitors at Moovijob Day Luxembourg and toured the 160 Luxembourg companies present to measure these criteria.
