Aware of the importance of the role played by business in the present day, the EURES network of the Greater Region has set its self the objective of supporting this cell of human creativity in its individual and collective work by offering customised services to cross-border employers:
EURES advisors offer you advice and support in the recruitment process. They inform you of the cross-border mobility of your employees. EURES advisors provide you with details on the services provided by employers’ organisations abroad. EURES network partners regularly carry out studies on your workforce needs. Participation in job fairs and Job Dating organised by EURES network partners is an excellent opportunity for promoting your company and recruiting qualified and multilingual cross-border staff. Landesvereinigung Unternehmerverbände Rheinland-Pfalz

Union des Entreprises is the leading network of entrepreneurs in France. It represents 80 professional federations and has 20,000 mandated representatives, active throughout France. Fedil, as an employers’ federation, has the mission of advising companies. Frontaliers Grand Est informs employers who wish to recruit abroad or have information on employment law in the case of cross-border activity.
Cross-border apprenticeships
The Saarland and Lorraine economies have been closely linked for decades. Beyond this border region. Germany and France maintain important economic ties. Key indicators such as investment rates, tourist flows and import/export data between the two countries are proof of this. In order to intensify and improve cross-border cooperation in terms of employment, growth and innovation, an “Agreement on Saarland-Lorraine Cross-Border Apprenticeships” was signed in 2014. With this agreement, a new apprenticeship system has been created, allowing new prospects for companies and young people on both sides of the border. This brochure informs you of the principle, modalities and contacts who are at your disposal for the implementation of your future cross-border apprenticeship contracts.
